Gold may soon reach $5,000 an ounce - some experts say.

After reading an excellent article by Melinda Peer over at Forbes, I began to wonder - could gold prices really reach $5000 in the coming years?

It wouldn't surprise me.  Last nights gold prices closed at nearly $980.  We are very close to seeing it at $1000 per ounce.
